Not So New News

We are still waiting on landscapers to come to our house to work on our backyard. It's been too wet for them to do anything, but we are ready! They are going to remove the gravel piles and re-grate our yard. In addition, they are also going to put down grass seed and straw.

While we wait for them to do our yard, we continue to work on the basement. We have almost finished all the wiring, as well as all most of the insulation. We started hanging dry-wall, but have not yet started mudding or taping. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but we also went ahead and ripped out the stairs and re-built new ones. The biggest thing we've done is that our parents talked us into taking out the garage doors and making it one solid wall. It's amazing how much bigger the space looks without garage doors! Here are some before and after pictures of the outside:

I'll update more soon hopefully. It's hard to see progress when it's all inside the walls, but I will try!
